Bostanci Ataturk Secondary School has started its education life in 1914-1915. It provides daytime education between 08:50 to 15:25. The education team is total 63 employees who are 52 teachers, 1 officer, 7 servicemen, 2 assistant of manager and 1 school manager. There are 27 classrooms with a total of 599 students (303 boys and 296 girls) within 2021- 2022 education terms. The course branches in our school are; physical education, religious culture and ethics, science and technology, visual arts, Turkish, English, math, music, social sciences, technology design, special education for mentally disabled students, computer, preschool education. Our aim is trying to raise students by applying the legislation in line with general purpose and basic principles of our national education system within national unity and integrity, respectful to national and spiritual values, a distinguished an creative partner of contemporary civilization, thinking inquiring, exploring and recognizing universal cultural values, developing and respecting for these values. Nevertheless, according to the results of national exams, our students' achievements in Science and Math are worse than in other subjects. The most important contribution of this project would be the integration of the STEM subjects into our school curriculum, thus making Science and Math education more relevant and meaningful for our students. The exchange of the good practices and sharing experiences will be very beneficial for both our students and our teachers. While participating in this Erasmus project we want to continue the internationalization process within our school. Our motivation to participate is to equip our students in skills so as to let them understand the values of European and International unity in the context of national traditions and history. We would also like to develop communicative and language skills of our students and staff.
