After visiting the caves in Romania, the students discovered the chemical reactions underlying the formation of stalactite and stalagmite, then conducted an experiment in the laboratory aimed at obtaining these formations.
They accessed the Phet Colorado platform to determine which of the bodies was ice, a key component of the Sc ăriñoara Glacier.
Using the digital tool Plickers with the Edpuzzle application, which increases creativity and curiosity, the international group, which also plays an active role in learning with interactive video lessons, discovered more information about scientists and caves with QR codes, determined the actual distance from the map. cities in partner countries followed by map scale calculation.
"Treasure hunt" - The treasure hunt leads to the discovery of the pirate's treasure by deciphering secret messages hidden through equations, logic problems and guesswork.
The purpose of the lessons, "STEM without limits", has come true!
27 volunteer students from the National College "Gheorghe Munteanu-Murgoci" participated in these activities as assistants facilitating English learning.
