Szkoła Podstawowa nr 2 Zamosc is a city primary school with 645 students and 54 teachers, situated in the south-east of Poland , our city, circa 70 000 inhabitants, is called Zamosc. We offer the general education that is compulsory for 7 to 15 years of age group in our country. A nursery school is located in the same building and even though our institutions are administratively separate, we cooperate. Our wish is to include the preschool aged (age 6), and even younger nursery school children in the project work with our school children, and hence further entighten our mutual co-operation. Our pupils come from a variety of backgrounds. Our school has also children with special education needs. These pupils are included into classes and they follow the national core curriculum with their own individual education plans. There are some students from economically disadvantaged families in our school , due to sensitivity of the issue, we can only estimate the number, there are about 30 students there are using the city social program of the free school meals
